Refunds & Returns
Trishoolin House UK · United Kingdom · Effective 2026-05-01
We want you to be happy with what you order. If something arrives damaged, wrong, or you simply changed your mind, here is how returns and refunds work.
Return window
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return for any reason. You also have a statutory 14-day cooling-off period under Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 during which you can cancel without giving any reason and at no return-postage cost to you for unused items.
Eligibility
- The book must be in its original condition — unread, undamaged, no writing or markings.
- Original packaging (shrink-wrap, dust jacket, etc.) intact wherever possible.
- Sealed audio/visual content (CDs, DVDs, audiobooks) must remain sealed.
- Personalised, signed, or special-order items are not eligible unless they arrived damaged.
How to start a return
- Sign in to your account and open the order in My Orders.
- Click Return or Refund on the relevant line item, choose a reason, and submit.
- We’ll email a return label (where the carrier supports it) within one business day. Pack the book securely and post it back, or drop it at the carrier counter listed on the label.
- Once we receive and inspect the item we issue your refund.
Guests can email support-uk@trishoolinhouse.com with the order number.
Refund timing
- Card payments: refunded to the original card within 5–10 business days after we receive the return.
- UPI / wallet / bank-transfer: refunded within 3–7 business days.
- Cash on delivery (where available): refunded by bank transfer; please reply to our refund email with bank-account details.
Damaged or wrong items
If your order arrived damaged or you received the wrong title, we cover return postage and either replace the item at no extra cost or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer. Please email a photo of the damage to support-uk@trishoolinhouse.com within 7 days of delivery.
Cancelled orders
Orders can be cancelled free of charge any time before they are dispatched. Once dispatched, they fall under the standard return process above. To cancel, open the order in My Orders and clickCancel; if the option is greyed-out it means the order has already moved to fulfilment.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects rights you cannot waive under Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Consumer Rights Act 2015, UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018. If a product fails the consumer-guarantee test (not of acceptable quality, doesn’t match its description, etc.) you may also be entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement under those laws — in addition to anything we offer here.
